YBIP1-19-01: Belowgrade Waterproofing Inspections
Stockbridge/Wilson Meany YBI Investors, LLC is requesting proposals from Belowgrade waterproofing inspection consultants to perform work on a mid-rise building located on Yerba Buena Island (“Project”). Firms interested in competing for this project are requested to submit a detailed scope of work, team member bios, a list of past projects, references, and proposed fees. The team will be selected by, and contracted directly with YBI Phase 1 Investors, and will coordinate closely with the ownership team, general contractor, and design team.
The Project is a new residential mid-rise podium building that will be surrounded by future residential townhomes and single family residential. The building is 124-unit podium building with a height of five stories (generally 5 over 1). The building has views of the San Francisco Bay, Treasure Island, the Bay Bridge, and the East Bay. Amenities include a courtyard, a gym, and a rooftop deck.

TICD Contracting Opportunities Background:
Contracts for physical construction and improvements (including: abatement, demolition, construction, street installation and utility system installations) are managed and issued by Treasure Island Community Development (TICD). These contracts are private contracts, and TICD's solicitation and contracting obligations are defined by the Project's Small Business Enterprise Procedures - Treasure Island/Yerba Buena Island (the "SBE Procedures"). As an objective of the development of Treasure Island is to create contracting opportunities for small business professional service firms and construction contractors, a Jobs and Equal Opportunity Program (the “Jobs EOP”) was attached to and made a part of the June 28, 2011 Disposition and Development Agreement between TIDA and TICD.
The Jobs EOP includes a number of employment, contracting and economic development provisions,and Section 3-Participation Goals for Small Business Enterprises of the Jobs EOP establishes small business policies and participation goals for Covered Work.
The SBE Procedures implement the Small Business Enterprise participation goals set forth in the Jobs EOP and in accordance therewith require good faith efforts designed to ensure that monies are spent in a manner that provides SBEs with an opportunity to compete for and participate in the Covered Work and to ensure broad contracting opportunities for all categories of SBEs.
