Treasure Island Fleet Weekend 2018 Advisory

No public viewing available on Treasure Island in 2018

There will be no public viewing areas on Treasure Island for Fleet Week/Fleet Weekend 2018 air-show and on-the water activities.  On-Island parking and viewing for visitors is unavailable now due to development construction.  TIDA encourages Bay Area residents and visitors to now visit the Port of San Francisco and other official 2018 Fleet Week event locations along the San Francisco Waterfront instead.

Treasure Island Residents/Commercial tenants– It is anticipated that SFPD may limit access on the Island Saturday October 6th and Sunday October 7th prior to the Air Shows in the interest of public safety. TIDA will provide credentials/passes for residents, commercial tenants and guests to be  clearly  displayed on vehicle dash boards in order to assure  access.  Residents should contact their housing managers to recieve passes, and commercial tenants may pick up passes at the TIDA Office.

Expect increased vehicle traffic on the Treasure Island Causeway , California Avenue, Avenue H and 9th Street.  San Francisco DPT and Traffic  Flaggers will be on Island to assist with traffic control.  SFPD will have an increased presence on Treasure Island this weekend and  Admiral Security will be patrolling the residential   area, and can be reached at 415-760-0406 to report suspicious activity. For emergencies, please call 911.
