TIDA Seeks Public Comment on Clipper Cove Rules and Regulations Revisions
Revisions to be heard at June 12, 2019 TIDA Board of Directors Meeting
The Treasure Island Development Authority (TIDA) seeks Public Comment on proposed revisions to the Clipper Cove Rules and Regulations ahead of a public hearing on these proposed revisions scheduled to take place at the June 12, 2019 TIDA Board of Directors meeting. All interested parties are encouraged to read the draft materials and provide any pertinent comment by or before 5 PM on Tuesday, June 11th, 2019. If approved by the TIDA Board of Directors, the revisions will take effect July 1, 2019.
The proposed revisions to the Clipper Cove Rules and Regulations are as follows:
- Requiring exterior anchorage lighting for all vessels anchored in Clipper Cove between sundown and sun-up
- Removing reference to Caltrans buoy line recently removed from Clipper Cove
- Restricting access into areas of Clipper Cove and onto sections of the Treasure/Yerba Buena Island shorelines when those areas are marked by buoys set by TIDA
