Treasure Island is served by the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency's MUNI 108 bus line, which departs for the Islands regularly from the temporary Transbay Terminal at Howard and Beale Streets in downtown San Francisco. A connecting shuttle from the Treasure Island Front Gate serves Yerba Buena Island residents.
Click here for MUNI 108 bus route and schedule information.
Please note: At this time there is not a direct public transportation connection from the East Bay to TI/YBI. The Embarcadero BART Station in downtown San Francisco is a short walk from the temporary Transbay Terminal.
Treasure and Yerba Buena Islands are accessible via the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge/Interstate 80. Whether traveling from San Francisco or the East Bay, follow Interstate 80 onto the Bay Bridge and take the "Treasure Island/Yerba Buena Island" left-lane exit at the halfway point of the Bay Bridge span.
If traveling from the East Bay towards the Islands, a Bay Bridge toll is required at the Oakland end of the span. There are no gas stations located on-Island.
The Treasure Island Development Authority encourages visitors and residents alike to maximize their use of public transportation, ride-sharing, carpooling and alternate transportation when traveling to and from Treasure and Yerba Buena Islands.
