Treasure Island July 4th Public Advisory
A large number of visitors to Treasure Island are expected on Tuesday July 4, 2017 for on-Island public and private activities, including public viewing of the City's Fireworks display from the Great Lawn. Residents and visitors alike should expect increased vehicle traffic on and off the Island, on the Treasure Island Causeway and through the Treasure Island Front Gate.
Avenue of the Palms will be closed to vehicle traffic, but open to pedestrians and cyclists, between 7:00 AM and 11:30 PM. Visitors are encouraged to park on the southern end of Treasure Island, between Building 1 and Hangar 2 off California Avenue. Local traffic is encouraged to use California Avenue to Avenues H/M/N to access Island businesses and the TI residential area.
SFMTA DPT Officers will be on Island to assist with Traffic and Parking Control. Additionally, expect increased SFPD presence on Treasure Island that evening. Admiral Security will be patrolling the residential area as well.
Residents – please ensure parking permits are up to date and visible as DPT will be restricting visitors access to the residential area.
Private use of any and all fireworks on-Island is prohibited at all times and should be reported to the SFPD Non-Emergency Phone Number 415-553-0123.
