Treasure Island is home to four San Francisco Little League (SFLL) fields utilized by SFLL's baseball, softball and Challenger programs. The fields are available for appropriate use by the Island community when not utilized by SFLL.

The Treasure Island Sailing Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose purpose is to improve the community and the sport of sailing by providing access, facilities, and sailing and water sports instruction to people of all ages, socioeconomic backgrounds, skill levels, and physical abilities, including adaptive sailing.

San Francisco Golden Gate Rugby Club (SFGG Rugby), based on Treasure Island, provides structure for players of all ages while nurturing their understanding and enjoyment of the game. SFGG Rugby provides the platform necessary to develop elite players that compete at the highest level of the sport. The Club has teams ranging from non-contact U-8s to the Elite Cup.

The Gaelic Athletic Association is the governing body of the Gaelic Games of Hurling and Gaelic Football, as well as such games as Rounders and Handball. The SFGAA encompasses the greater Bay Area region and manages and maintains three fields on Treasure Island. SFGAA is a totally amateur, non-profit, community-based organisation whose remit includes the promotion of Irish culture as expressed through sport, poetry, song, dance, and music.
